Courses
Category C
At HGV Training Centre, we are able to arrange a course specifically for you in one of our 45 nationwide training centres. Typically with a Category C Licence you will be eligible to drive a LGV over 3,500kg. This is a smaller vehicle commonly known as a Rigid Body, Class 2 or an LGV which is typically used for making local deliveries.
With this licence we would expect you to be able to achieve £25k per year. Our HGV Training Courses run with a 9 Step procedure which has been tried and tested with great results. Our years of experience and training methods ensure that you receive the very best training, ready for you to become a reliable and efficient HGV driver.
The possibilities however do not end there. If you wish to further your career, or further your qualifications, we can also enrol you onto our Category C & E Training Course.
Category C & E
If you are enthusiastic, and ambitious we recommend that you undertake our Category C & E course. Ultimately we expect you to be able to earn up to £30,000 per year upon completion of this course. The Category C & E course can be taken in association with the Category C Training, as we have the facilities to accommodate both inexperienced drivers, as well as those looking for a refresher course.
This course will last for eight days, and with this licence you will be to take control of your career. With an increase in demand for drivers from the rise in power of online shopping and the need for deliveries, you will be able to find a position suitable for your life style.
The working pattern is flexible, but it is common that you will work a few days in a row, followed by a resting period after. Meaning that this position gives you the flexibility to be able to live your life as well as following a career you enjoy.
